These are field sketches from the Peruvian Amazon, drawn on the ground and in the treetops. This was a three week expedition to the Napo River region in the company of three scientists, including the Ant Man himself. I was there with the support of a Don and Virginia Eckelberry Fellowship from The Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University in Philadelphia. My job was to walk into the tropical rainforest with a sketchbook and come out again with many, many field drawings of birds. Here are some of the results.
