Digging out from Tchotchka World

Almost there– just a couple more designs and I can wipe my hands clean and crawl out of this big pile of figurines I’ve been buried under for the last few weeks. And, God willing, I’ll paint a picture again. I’ve got this long list of Things To Do that I can’t wait to attack. Tomorrow. But for right now, tonight, I’m going put up a couple of very old drawings from way back when I drew just for fun. Talking with my friend Bob today I was reminded of a couple of sketches from a series I didn’t get very far in: Great Faces in Bluegrass. I got as far as Jimmy Martin and Sonny Osborne. What was I thinking? I totally forgot about Frank Wakefield and John Duffy. Maybe I can pick up where I left off– about 20 years ago.
