Wow! Both the photo and the drawing are stunning. I find that nature humbles me at every turn — but so do your drawings. I’ll look forward to more of your work/play in 2008.
If you sailed through the canal, you went right past BCI and yes, there are a lot of birds there. As for drawing them, that was one of the great pleasures of the being there. If you put the word Panama into this blog’s search engine, you’ll get a few sketches. To see a few tropical sketchbooks go to: http://www.debbykaspari.com
Have a happy and a creative new year !
A nice idea showing the sketchbook together with the photo – in England its above freezing (not much) blowing hard with large waves breaking over the promenade in Southsea and I wish I was with your sketchbook enjoying a slightly warmer break ! Ho hum, summer can’t be that long can it ! The poor old seagulls are being blown around and I guess they too are looking forward to the summer.
Merry Christmas to you too Debby!

Ditto!
What a great image of the drawing over the photo of the area. We just sailed thru the canal and I loved all the lush green jungle.
I could hear the birds, did you find any to draw?
