A nice oil sketch came out of this one, which I drew first to get the values and placement down, then sketched it up on the oil primed paper and slapped thin paint on it at it with big brushes; results to be posted later when it’s done cooking. We played with props a bit here- a red and orange silk scarf, a satin robe, and a brass vase with a silk poppy on a table next to her. 6B pencil on Stillman & Birn 8 1/2 x 11″ sketchbook, Alpha Series. 4 minute pose.
