Our arts-friendly town has become very bike-friendly of late. So, the Norman Public Arts Board with co-sponsor Fowler Volkswagon held a bike rack design contest and got over 200 submissions. I’m very proud and honored that two of my designs were included in the final picks.

Five designs were fabricated and installed onto the downtown pavement of the Norman arts and shopping district. A dedication ceremony was held this evening in an art gallery on Main Street. We artists stood tall and smiled as a photographer clicked away and a reporter scribbled in a yellow pad. Then we all went outside and admired the new bike racks.

They are awesome.
Happy Friday.
They are indeed…cool, handsome and practical environmental design. Is there no end to this woman’s talents?
I agree, Alan!
Great job!
