Cuvier’s Fountain gurgles playfully at the rear of this typical Parisian tableau of motor scooters, smoking, and sociable fashionistas in their chic ensembles. Pencil in Moleskine 5″ x 8″Georges Cuvier was one of the big guns of early 19th century natural history, zoology and anatomy. His fountain is especially fine. I intended to draw it but got side-tracked by the street action instead.
