A big, woody vine is called a liana; this one wrapped around a tree to one side of the trail in the Amazon forest. I sat and drew it for a couple of hours, when a gray-winged trumpeter started curiously pecking my art gear (see video). Also note the large moth in the shadows, nearly invisible.
