Shadowplay: Crimson fronted Parakeets/ source material
This tiny watercolor serves as the foliage for “Shadowplay”. It was painted from life on Barro Colorado Island, Panama. The original measures about 6″ x 6″.I stole the parakeets from another work, a mixed media drawing I’d done plein air (more or less) on Barro Colorado Island.
