Statue of Hans Christian Andersen, Kongens Have (King’s Garden), Copenhagen, with text. Pencil and watercolor wash on Moleskine 5 x 8.The statue itself. Sculpted 1880 by August V. Saabye. In Kongens Have, Copenhagen.
Your drawing has a very lively feel to it. It is pleasing to look at. Last August we stayed about one block away from this park at the Hotel Christian IV. We also saw the changing of the guard per your previous post. After the changing of the guard we went back to the canal for lunch and were surprised to have the guard band march right by our table. I look forward to your next post.
